This Week’s Topic:

An Attitude of Gratitude

November 17 & 18, 2018

For some people, this time of year as we approach the holiday season is a very difficult time. Whether it's job and financial insecurity, loss of a loved one, or some other form of hardship, we know that some see this time of year as something to "get through". If that's been your view or attitude this fall, I believe it's the devil really trying to distract or attack you and I also believe that God wants to help you take those thoughts captive. One way of doing this is to be intentionally grateful, to adopt an attitude of gratitude! This week at Friendship, we'll look toward Thanksgiving, discuss the significance on national and personal levels, and discover how we can use this holiday to remind ourselves of just how blessed we are to know that Christ is in our lives and hearts. We will also be celebrating the Lord's Supper and want you to know that everyone is invited to the table. We invite you to come and worship with us at any of the services, which are Saturday at 6 p.m. and Sunday at 9 and 10:45 a.m. Join us and be blessed!
