Sermon Series: Souled Out

Saturday @ 6:00 PM

Sunday @ 9:00 AM & 10:45 AM

When I was a teenager and turned 16 years old, I remember my dad telling me, "Son, you have more freedom now, but with more freedom comes more responsibility". Well, who in the world wants that? I don't know about you but I'd love it if I could have more freedom and be able to do whatever I want and make someone else responsible for it! At least, that's how I thought when I was younger and I'm sure you probably did too. But as mature followers of Jesus Christ who have been given the greatest gifts of freedom of all time - salvation through him and the power of the Holy Spirit to guide us - we ought to embrace the responsibility that comes with receiving those gifts. So many have gone before us to stand up and speak out the name of Jesus in a lost, dark, and broken world. Now, it's OUR turn. This week at Friendship, we'll take a look at Acts 5 and consider our own CHRISTIAN RESPONSIBILITY to stand for Jesus and against evil. We invite you to come and worship with us at any of the services, which are Saturday at 6 p.m. and Sunday at 9 & 10:45 a.m. Join us and be blessed!
